To solve these complex tasks we offer Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system development for emergency services:
  • a number for each service: as ambulance, fire rescue, police etc.
  • a unified number for the group of services

These systems allow to control public safety operations and communications automatically. They include computer-controlled emergency vehicle dispatching, vehicle status, incident reporting and information management.

The emergency CAD system provides the following functionality:
 

Call Taking

Calls for service (CFS) come from different points: alarm systems, direct calls, walk-ins, CAD-to-CAD interfaces. Call taking consists of call receiving, information obtaining from the caller, duplicate calls determination in real time, and CFS recording or updating in the CAD system. The call taker applies procedures and guidelines to verify, analyze, classify and prioritize calls.
 

Dispatch Decision Support

The dispatcher can see recommended resources for the selected CFS, based on preset criteria for the CFS type and priority. In selecting appropriate resources, the dispatcher considers a number of factors, such as proximity to the call location, number of available units, special skills or equipment, and the number and type of other CFS to which dispatchers are responding. Available resources are displayed based upon unit status
 

Units dispatching

The dispatcher distributes CFS between available units (patrols, people resources, equipment etc.). He continually monitors, updates and records unit status.
 

Reports generation

The system allows to generate reports and manage the emergency case developing and call-takers and dispatchers workflow.
 

System Administration

System administration provides table maintenance, security and data management, error logging, customization.
