Purpose, functions, characteristics
The system is intended for the registration and control of movement of goods, vehicles and persons through the state border of the Republic of Belarus.

- providing a single information space within the road border crossing;
- control of flow of operations executed by responsible persons of government authorities management;
- monitoring the state of affairs on the road border crossing;
- statistical and analytical reports generation.
System provides a flexible integration of several software products used on the road border crossing according to the principles of service-oriented architecture.
Informational interaction is based on the XML protocol.

- PASS – software development platform for business processes automation systems specific for a concrete organization, product of ITC-M, based on J2EE and Swing.
- XML-Schema – description of the format and structure of interagency data exchange.

Development was performed in frame of partner company ITC-M.
Development and testing of the software modules according to fixed price contract. Scope of work was about 6 000 man-hours.
Development was based on the proprietary integrated platform PASS created by ITC-M.
Undertime development. The team of up to 15 developers of GERSIS SOFTWARE was working on the project at one time. Architectural solutions were precised during the development.
